The success of events - conferences, presentations, training etc, relies heavily on the application of audio visual and digital technology. Lightsource provides event technology to organisations who need to communicate in front of an audience. Our philosophy is based on providing exceptional value. That means combining high levels of professionalism with the expertise to achieve the required results without recourse to employing unlimited technical resources. Our operation is small and rurally based. The management is tight - allowing us to employ extremely able people. Mostly graduates, our people often have a music or arts or performance background Our philosophy is based on providing exceptional value - at the heart of our events support service is what has become simply known as the Presentation Pack. This is a defined set of equipment and technicians offered at a daily package price. The basic Presentation Pack will equip almost any event with an audience size up to 250 theatre style. So with a simple single booking, the event coordinator gets all the audio visual elements necessary to a high class event and skilled, well experienced technicians to implement it. The single daily fee makes for simple budgeting, especially for organisations who do not want too much complex technical involvement. It also makes for exceptional value, being about half what would be billed were the items and fees to be charged separately. Of course, as an 'off the shelf' product the Pack may be viewed as too standardised for the more ambitious events. However, individuality and variety can be added on from a list of extra services. Powerful graphics, complex lighting, on-screen video images and different utilisations of the flexible modular set backdrop system can be added on to the basic Package, thus preserving the built in cost advantage.
